Municipal Court Warrants in Jefferson County
Arkansas court modernization changed the labels here. A city case may land in a Jefferson County District Court department instead of a court formally named a municipal court. District Courts handle traffic cases, misdemeanors, state-law violations, local ordinance matters, and preliminary felony issues. Break a condition or miss a setting, and a judge can issue a bench warrant, an FTA warrant, or a capias. A capias orders a person taken into custody. A capias pro fine ties to unpaid court fines or costs. The issuing court controls the case and any recall. Police may encounter the warrant and process it. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Service/Warrants Division maintains, confirms, and executes many warrants across Jefferson County. That division does not replace the court clerk. A ticket payment page can show a balance. It may say nothing about live warrant status. A city process may miss a county web list. Start with the court name printed on the citation or notice.
Pine Bluff Jefferson County Municipal Warrants
Pine Bluff's official District Court page lists the court at 223 East 3rd Avenue, Chief District Clerk Veronica Young, phone 870-850-7584, and fax 870-850-2440. This is Division 2. It is the direct route for many Pine Bluff ticket, court-date, payment, and local warrant questions in Jefferson County. It is not a countywide warrant database. Pine Bluff Police policies use FTA, FTC, and DTP. FTA stands for failure to appear, FTC for failure to comply, and DTP for delinquent time payment. Those policies also describe MECA checks and warrant handling. MECA is an agency workflow, not a public portal. Ask the court whether the charge permits online payment, requires an appearance, or needs a reset. City guidance says some traffic and non-Class A misdemeanor tickets may be payable online. Court-mandatory charges are not, and time payments are not accepted.
Which Cities Have Municipal Courts
The 29th District's official plan lists Jefferson County court departments in Pine Bluff, Altheimer, Humphrey, White Hall, Wabbaseka, and Redfield. The court named on the paper controls the case.
| City or town | Court | Warrant-related work | Phone |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pine Bluff | Division 2 | Traffic, misdemeanor, ordinance, FTA, FTC, DTP | 870-850-7584 |
| White Hall | City Court | City cases and settings | 870-247-1420 |
| Redfield | City Court | City cases and payments | 501-397-6111 |
| Altheimer | Division 1 department | Tickets, FTA, resets, dates | 870-766-8229 |
| Wabbaseka | Division 1 department | Citations and local cases | 870-692-0326 |
The official 2020 incorporated-place table ranks Jefferson County's cities with Pine Bluff first, then White Hall, Redfield, Altheimer, and Wabbaseka.

The image establishes municipal context, not warrant volume. No city-by-city warrant count was published.
Jefferson County Municipal Warrant List Limits
Don't treat the sheriff's web list as the only source. The official Jefferson County warrant endpoint has displayed a notice reading “Warrants Offline for Maintenance.” An outage does not mean no warrants exist. The page's own disclaimer says its information is for convenience and is not certified.
Key point: Absence from a Sheriff web list does not prove a Jefferson County municipal court warrant is cleared or absent.
Call the Jefferson County Sheriff at 870-541-5351. The Sheriff FAQ says staff may give the warrant date, listed charges, bond amount, and issuing court. Then call that court. ACIC and NCIC hold internal law-enforcement data with no public statewide search, and the Arkansas Judiciary Case Search cannot promise a current warrant result.
How to Check a Municipal Court Warrant
Use the channels listed for Jefferson County. Keep a citation or case number handy, and never send sensitive details through an unsecured contact form.
- Read the court name on the citation. Call its clerk and ask whether the matter is payable, needs a reset, requires appearance, or has produced a warrant.
- For an eligible citation, use the Arkansas citation portal. It asks for court, name, and either citation number or license or state ID plus date of birth. It is not a general warrant search.
- Call JCSO at 870-541-5351 for date, charge, bond or no-bond status, issuing court, and next contact.
- For a public record, use Arkansas FOIA channels through the custodian: in person, phone, mail, fax, or electronic request. The Sheriff fax is 870-541-5348.
- If portals fail, check with the clerk in person after confirming location and hours. Seek an attorney's advice before surrender, plea, or payment.
In Jefferson County, Division 1 is 870-541-4646, Division 2 is 870-850-7584, and the Circuit Clerk is 870-541-5306. Arkansas has no public statewide active-warrant database.
White Hall Jefferson County Municipal Warrants
The official White Hall City Court page lists 101 Parkway Drive and 870-247-1420. Sessions run two Wednesdays each month at noon, plus extra days as needed. White Hall, in Jefferson County, posts no public warrant portal. Ask the clerk about a setting, a missed date, payment eligibility, or an appearance. The official White Hall leaders page names the city officials who oversee these offices.

Leadership changes, so rely on the main court number. For a Jefferson County arrest-warrant question, call JCSO rather than assuming City Hall keeps the Sheriff's record.
What a Municipal Court Warrant Shows
Jefferson County publishes no local warrant-number pattern. By phone, Sheriff staff may give the date, charges, bond, and issuing court. Court files may add more. Juvenile, sealed, expunged, and investigation limits still apply.
| Warrant or case number | The court identifier, if public; no Jefferson format was verified. |
|---|---|
| Charge | Ordinance, traffic, misdemeanor, FTA, FTC, DTP, or fine-related basis. |
| Issuing court | The city court or department controlling recall. |
| Date | Issue date when maintained and public. |
| Bond or fine | Court-set amount and type, or no-bond status. |
| Status | Active, served, recalled, quashed, or resolved. |
Recalled means the court withdrew the warrant. Quashed means a court order set it aside. A receipt does not prove every system updated. Confirm with the Jefferson County court and Sheriff.
Wabbaseka Jefferson County Municipal Warrant Portal
The Wabbaseka citation portal walks through Citation Search, Terms Agreement, Payment, and Receipt stages. A citation number is required. If a number starts with zero and is not found, try again without the first zero. A ticket may take five days to post. That delay alone is not proof of a warrant. The interface shows no public warrant flag. Phone payment runs 877-685-4496, weekdays 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Eastern. For warrant status, call the clerk and the Jefferson County Sheriff, since payment alone still needs recall confirmation if a separate warrant issued.
Resolving a Municipal Court Warrant
Only the issuing court can say what clears its own warrant. Some Jefferson County matters allow simple payment. Others need a reset, an appearance, a plea, bond, or an order, and full payment through the state portal waives appearance and trial as a guilty or no-contest plea.
- Confirm the active warrant and exact court.
- Ask whether payment is allowed, whether appearance is required, and what proof follows.
- If bond or surrender is discussed, call JCSO first about place, identification, bond type, and next date.
- Keep the receipt or order, then verify the recall reached the Sheriff system and ACIC/NCIC workflow.
Warning: Payment can carry plea consequences and may not recall a separate warrant until the court completes its process.
Most warrants carry a court-set bond, though a few are no bond. JCSO in Jefferson County generally accepts cash or surety bond, but not property or personal-recognizance bonds. Bond secures release; it does not dismiss the case.
Jefferson County Municipal Warrant Scam Check
A threatening text can look like a court notice. Jefferson County has warned residents about fake warrants, jury-duty claims, and citation texts sent to phones. Never use the number or link in an unsolicited demand; type a known official address or dial a published number instead. A city case belongs to that city's court. A claimed Jefferson County warrant goes to JCSO at 870-541-5351. No real office demands payment by gift card, wire, cryptocurrency, PayPal, or Apple Pay. Treat that demand as a scam. For an urgent safety issue call 911, keeping in mind that a crime-tip line cannot confirm a warrant and a scammer's claim proves nothing about any court record.
Jefferson County Municipal Warrant Routing
Altheimer shows why a city label needs checking. The Arkansas Judiciary directory places Altheimer in Jefferson County District Court Division 1. County material lists the local contact at 870-766-8229. Yet the 29th District plan calls the Altheimer police department inactive. Altheimer has no dedicated warrant portal. Do not assume a staffed city police warrant desk. For a ticket, missed date, reset, or payment issue, start with the current Judiciary directory and Division 1. Ask the clerk which department applies. Ask also whether it needs payment or an appearance. Use the statewide citation portal only when the court says the citation is eligible and the correct court appears in its list. A blank search is not warrant clearance. Anyone needing a Jefferson County warrant confirmed by phone can call JCSO at 870-541-5351. Records requests follow the same custody rule. Ask the agency that created or maintains the record for specific, public, non-exempt fields. The Jefferson County Clerk is not the routine criminal-warrant custodian either. A city contact does not automatically hold a sheriff warrant record, and these distinctions keep each request narrow and aimed at the office that can answer it.
